Academic Course
Central Institute of Open School (CIOS) is an autonomous private board that conducts SSLC and Plus Two examinations in every April and October. Individuals who had discontinued SSLC/Plus Two due to various reasons can complete it successfully within a year.Both the courses can be done as correspondence curse. There is no age limit for the candidates.CIOS have examination centers across India and in Gulf countires, such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait
Plus Two (Senior Secondary Course)
Candidates who had passed SSLC are eligible to apply for Plus Two course. They should have completed 17 years. There will be six subjects, including one language for the Plus Two examination.The min examination can be written either in English or Hindi.
Course Details
Both SSLC and Plus Two can be done as correspondence courses. It can be done either as part-time or distant education course. Candidates who are unable to attend regular classes can do in-house study at their convinience. After course registration, candidates will receive study materials for the selected five subjects via post. Science, Commerce and Humanities can be done separately. They can select the courses based on their future career plans. For instance, those who prefer to pursue a career in science, engineering, medicine or nursing should select Science..
Examination
The main exam will be conducted in April and October every year.
The students can choose their examination centers at their convenience. Besides Kerala, there are examination centers in all other Indian states and Gulf countries.
How to apply?
Candidates are required to fill two forms — Form 1 and Form 2.
Following documents are required to apply for SSLC course:
- School Certificate (3 attested copies).
- Address Proof (3 attested copies).
- Passport Size Photo- 5 Nos
- Registration fee (DD)
Candidates should send the aforementioned documents by registered post.
